WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL PARLIAMENT FOR SAFETY & PEACE?
The IPSP is registered as an international organization of the States created for the purpose of defending the peace of all people internationally and the security of all Nations of the earth. By right, all Nations of the world and have international giuridic personality, as the same happens for the UNITED NATIONS and Similar Organisms.Consequently all Nations are members of the International States Parliament for Safety and Peace. The IPSP is represented worldwide by eminent and distinguished parliamentary senators and diplomatic delegations from more than 155 countries, similar to the United Nations.
The IPSP was founded on December 15, 1975. The Lord President of the International Parliament Safety and Peace is His Excellency and His Eminence the Archbishop Monsignor Senator Professor Viktor Busá a distinguished world leader in conflict resolutions and recognized for international safety and peace. He replaced the deceased Archbishop Makarios, former President of IPSP and the Republic of Cyprus.
IPSP is a neutral organization, politically and religiously, working towards peace and enforcement of respect for life and human rights amongst all people in the world.
The purpose of the IPSP is to ensure that all nations of the world enjoy maximum in all aspects; moral, political, diplomatic, cultural, religious, economic and social. Thus, to ensure security and peace to all, it is dedicated to avoid discrimination and oppression of the poor.
The International Parliament condemns any kind of political, religious and racial persecution; it defends the right to freedom of thought, speech and conscience. The IPSP continually sponsors safety and peace projects - and awards Peace Trophies. The 1989 Peace Trophy was awarded to the President of the U.S.S.R., Mr. Gorbachev.
