TAP PROGRAMS

The Tap Examination Program has been created exclusively for the by Madame Maxine Ross.

Who is Maxine Ross?

Maxine is a lifetime member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) and was an active member of America (DMA) and Dance Educators of America (DEA).  For many years, she was also a member of the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) and the Alliance of Canadian, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA).

Maxine is well known for her expertise in the discipline of tap dance, and for many years she has successfully put students, from beginners to teachers, through Tap exams.

Maxine danced professionally from a young age, performing on television and in theatres in Toronto, across Canada, throughout the United States, and around the world.  In 1962, she opened the Maxine School of Dance and dedicated most of her life to teaching children for the "love of dance".  She is also well known as a choreographer and adjudicator.  Her students performed successfully and won scholarships in many competitions throughout Canada the United States and internationally.  Many graduates of her studio are now teaching dance or dancing professionally.  Dance is many things to many people.  To Maxine dance is her life.  Her contributions to the dance community are too many to mention.

If your school intends on participating in the Tap Examination Program, please contact us to prepare your school and so we can establish a relationship with you.
