DANCE PROGRAMS ALWAYS EXPANDING

Vancliffen International Corporation is proud to announce that their dance programs are expanding again in the Vancliffen International Examination Programs.  One new program being added this month is the TAP Examination Program created by professional dancer, teacher and choreographer Madame Maxine Ross.  These new exams are a wonderful addition to the already successful Ballet and Jazz Examinations.  All teachers who participate will be able to purchase, at a minimal fee, a package consisting of a syllabus, DVD of the first five levels, and the music created especially for the exams.

Amelia Wanderlingh, Artistic Director, is also proud to announce that the Modern Dance Examinations will be established in 2006.

A National Ballet Competition was held in Italy.  The winners received an all expenses paid trip, including room and board, to Canada, along with a scholarship to study at the world renowned Canada's National Ballet School under the direction of Mavis Staines.  Read about the winners.

This coming June, an audition is being held in Toronto in order to choose a group of young dancers to go to Italy and study for two weeks.  They will also be given the possibility to compete in the international dance competition "Michele Abate".  All this is made possible by the Vancliffen Arts Foundation.  Also, the exchange program is being enlarged to include other countries like the United States.
